Nancy Shaffer is a passionate force in the world of live events—an innovator, a storyteller, and a builder of human connection. With over three decades of experience, Nancy doesn’t just lead projects—she inspires movements, bringing people together through shared purpose and unforgettable experiences. Her superpower is storytelling, but her impact lies in her ability to listen deeply, understand instinctively, and empower teams to rise to their highest potential.
Driven by a fierce commitment to collaboration, Nancy is intimately involved in every project she touches, blending strategic insight with heart-led leadership. She believes great events are more than moments in time—they are lasting catalysts for change, brand expression, and community. With her at the helm, BRAVO! has built a reputation not just for excellence, but for experiences that leave a meaningful legacy.
When the world of live events was brought to a standstill during the pandemic, Nancy didn’t hesitate. She helped launch the Live Events Coalition (LEC)—a grassroots, all-volunteer organization that has become a vital voice for an often-overlooked industry. As its President, Nancy continues to advocate fiercely for event professionals, forging relationships with policymakers, raising national awareness, and reminding the world of the economic and emotional power of gathering.
Nancy’s journey began in corporate marketing and sales, but her heart found its home in experiential storytelling. Since founding BRAVO! in 1997, she’s produced transformative events for clients across sectors, always aligning each experience with a larger mission. Her work has earned her prestigious recognition—including being named one of Smart Meetings’ Top 100 Smart Women of 2022 and a BizBash 15 Over 50 honoree. But the honors that mean the most are the relationships she’s built and the communities she’s helped shape.
Beyond the stage and spotlight, Nancy gives back through board service, mentoring young leaders, and championing organizations that uplift others, including EnventU, Safe Shores, The Hill Preschool, and Capitol Hill Village. Her commitment to service is not a side project—it’s central to who she is.

Kristin Zeitler, COO
Kristin Zeitler brings a wealth of expertise to her role at BRAVO! with over a decade of experience in strategy consulting and project management, and is instrumental in helping BRAVO! continue to grow and innovate in a rapidly-evolving market. Kristin is known for her strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively across departments and externally to drive results. Her leadership and contributions have helped to position BRAVO! as a leading player in the event industry.
Prior to BRAVO!, Kristin Zeitler served as Chief of Staff at Social Tables, a hospitality technology company that provided event management software and services. As Chief of Staff, Zeitler was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensured that its strategic goals and objectives were met.
